Time floats by like a butterfly,
Just hands held,

The wind must be carrying that fragrance yet again.
The air must be magical.
The trees, greener and sparkling.
The umbrellas would be no match to the wind.
And somewhere you must be soaked in the downpour.
You would message me complaining with mock-anger:
“I got drenched yet again”!
My mind wanders to what I could tell you.
but I have never wanted to feel the rains this bad.
Roasted corn, cup of tea and endless gossip with friends…..
many memories with rains I’ve had.
But something pulls me closer.
The clouds and their unusual patterns.
The mind flies away to a faraway land.
I never wanted to feel the rains this bad.
