Without a word

The sound of silence
echoes all around.
The deafening quiet.

No doors have slammed.
No one is blamed.
There was no conversation.
Still the silence screams.

The ground beneath my feet crumbles.

Without a word everything’s spoken.
A blink of an eye and
this heart is broken.

Beyond hope.
Beyond amend.

A butterfly with wings clipped forever.
Who’s lost its urge to fly.

Without a word the soul has left its resting place.
And entered eternal torment.

Is this how a heart breaks?

Hmm…
Yes, kind of…Just that at times it could be a lot more painful, or lets put it this way…When ‘they’ say, some things are indescribable, they arent really kidding

Nonetheless, good to see a new post, such a pleasant surprise!
Do remain ‘persistent’! Do keep writing, even more regularly
