Awareness

Posted by SuperHypersonic under SuperHyperSonic

How often has this happened in every life, that we are so busy focusing on ourselves, the dreams we put into our own eyes, that we forget to see the beauty of Reality? The beauty of the present?

This life is like heady wine.
Everybody reads the label on the bottle.
Hardly anybody tastes the wine.
If I could only taste a bird,a flower,a tree,a human face!

But,alas,I have no time!
My energy is spent deciphering the label.

Be aware and live in the present, for that,is being awakened.
You will find there are no problems with the circumstances,it is the unawakened who find the problems in the past and future.

Thanks for the wonderful story/poem[?] :)
It really speaks alot despite being small.
And it is about every day, everybody.
I see people outside all the time, walking, jogging, running to work etc.One beautiful morning,I was marvelling at the singing of the birds, and noticed that EVERYONE I passed had earplugs in,listening to canned entertainment. They did not hear the birds. THEY are not aware!

    great work, as usual!

And this especially holds true if you end up living in a New York or a Mumbai! Cities that just dont sleep!!

And this is where, at times you feel, that people who seem to ‘have all the time in the world’, people from the so-called rural/countryside, are lucky to not know how life in the cities have become…To a great extent, you cant blame the fast-paced man for being the way he is…Moi not condoning anything but you do come across situations in life when you just have to, “RUN”, run and run!

Nonetheless, there was a reason why Julian Mantle left it all and went to the Himalayas! :) Which is why, at the end of it all, this piece holds so much of significance…

People somehow need to learn to strike ‘balance’…Difficult, but far from being impossible that!

    @Blog owner… Am tired of this now, rating your pieces 10/10, 11/10, 12/10, etc :D :) :)

very nicely written. In the fast paced world, most of us have forgotten to LIVE!
And like commented by lnl99, it is ‘not’ impossible, it is just somehow ignored by most. But yes a balance is imp and not so difficult to achieve.

    Really v v nice article :D
