Not the fastest horse
Posted by SuperHypersonic under SuperHyperSonic
Darkness in the mind,
like a chain.
To cripple,to bind.
To make you blind.
Cold, harsh words spoken in anger,
freezing both my body and mind.
The colors of the world fade,
and frostbite sets in.
Wish you can trust,
and not be prisoner to doubt.
Wish you would free your mind,
and let some light in.
P.S. Couldn’t think of a suitable title, the heading is from the Chinese proverb “Not the fastest horse can catch a word spoken in anger.”

I read a quote that said “For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
Good to see a new post on SH. And very well-written too, as always!
In particular ,loved the lines:
Wish you would free your mind,
and let some light in.
Drives the point totally!
And as for the title, I quite like the one you have already:) very distinct and nice actually!
Hi Adi,
Good to see that chinese proverb is also used here
Anger is really waste of time.I liked what you write about it. Very beautiful words.
I really liked your blog and it is really wonderful.
Would really love to read more.
Very very nice!
I specially like how the poem starts with darkness but ends with light
Also as written above, really poignant lines these:
“Wish you would free your mind, and let some light in.”
Also the illustration of ‘ frostbite ‘ very beautifully used.
Very very precise and nicely written and ending on a positive tine is what I liked!
Glad to see your posts back! Keep writing more!
*positive “tone”

Nice!
I also like the title already used.No need for another one
